Let’s face it. You came to this page because you are concerned about your privacy. That’s perfectly understandable. We started this company to improve the quality of life for PWSN (People with Special Needs, including visually impaired, Physically handicapped and mentally challenged) through participation in sports, such as running, cycling and swimming, and other inclusive activities, by connecting them with Buddy Guides. This website and its services do not function without your personal data. Therefore, you will be requested to fill in all the forms with your honest data including some medical information. Filling in untruth information will automatically trigger the removal of such persons. Your personal information is visible to all active members and is needed to make our services possible.
If at any time you want to be removed from “Together We Go”, contact us and our staff will delete you and your information from our system (any public uploaded content will remain the property of “Together We Go” eg. photos, documents, etc. in Forums, Groups or activity feeds, etc.).
Any content, advice, commentary or other materials which are made available on the Website does not form advice on which you should place reliance. The material is intended for educational purposes only and should not be taken in place of professional advice. Use of the Website Services is entirely at your own risk. The information contained on these pages is of a general nature and is intended to provide information service for our members. Information on the Website is subject to change without prior notice. Whilst every reasonable effort is made to ensure that the information on the Website is complete, correct and up to date, this cannot be guaranteed and “Together We Go” shall not be liable whatsoever for any damages incurred as a result of its use. You will not acquire any rights, whether contractual, in tort or otherwise as a result of the information contained on the Website. “Together We Go”, its trustees, directors, employees, agents, officers and other persons connected with the creation, maintenance or dissemination of these pages will not be liable for any damage or loss, direct or indirect, occasioned by the use of the Website or the Website Services.
We may make changes to “Together We Go”, including these terms, at any time. You will be legally bound by the updated or amended terms from the first time that you use “Together We Go” after we put the changes on-line.
Age Requirement. “Together We Go”, you must be at least 16 years old unless your parents/caregiver is signing up on your behalf.
Please exercise the same common sense and good judgment when considering offline meetups as you do when using the Website. “Together We Go” does not conduct or require background checks on members. “Together We Go” does not take any responsibility for the conduct or Content of any members or their interactions when away from “Together We Go”.
Any location information, data, text, or photos and any other material of whatever type which you upload, post, link to or share in any way using the Website Services will be your responsibility and any rights (whether intellectual property rights or otherwise) will remain owned by you at all times.
By uploading, posting, linking to or sharing Your Content, you grant to us a license which is worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free (and which includes the right to sub-licence or transfer the same to the extent required for operating the Website Services) allowing us to use, modify, publish, reproduce, store and distribute Your Content only in connection with the Website Services. This license will terminate only if you remove Your Content from the Website, except that you agree that the license will continue solely with respect to other users’ continued use of any of Your Content that you may have shared with or made available to them. You represent that you are entitled to grant this license to us without being in breach of any applicable laws or regulations or the rights of anybody else.
All Content, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, is the sole responsibility of the person who originated such Content. “Together We Go” cannot guarantee the authenticity of any Content or data which users may provide about themselves. You acknowledge that all Content accessed by you using the Service is at your own risk and you will be solely responsible and liable for any damage or loss to you or any other party resulting therefrom.
Limited portions of your activities on “Together We Go” are private. Your activity in these sections will not be publicly visible in your Profile, and only certain other “Together We Go” users, as described below, will be able to see this activity.
(a) Private and Hidden Groups. “Together We Go” allows members to create private and hidden groups, in addition to public groups. All Network visitors can see that a private group exists, and membership in those groups is visible in their members’ profiles, but only members who have been permitted to join a private group by the administrator of the group will be able to see other members’ activity in the group. Hidden groups are similar, except that only members who have been invited to join the group can see that the hidden group exists, and membership in hidden groups is not publicly visible in their members’ profiles.
(b) Restricted Sites. “Together We Go” allows members to restrict access to sites they have created or administer; only those members identified by the site administrator will be able to see the content posted on the sites, though the administration of the site will be visible in the administrator’s profile.
(c) Private Messages. The Network allows members to send private messages to other members; these messages and the fact that members have sent or received them will not be viewable by anyone except the sender, the recipient and the administration staff.
If you create a site or group on the, that space is still subject to the policies and guidelines that govern the network as a whole, and you as owner/moderator are responsible for complying with relevant policies, including policies related to visitors’ personal data.
(d.) Network Communications. We may use your User Information to send you important messages about the Network through e-mail or through other means available through “Together We Go”. For example, we may send you important messages about the operation of “Together We Go” (e.g., if we add or change Network functionality or change our Terms of Service or this Privacy Statement). Other e-mail preferences can mostly be set in the member’s Settings.
We moderate material that has been posted and then decide whether it is suitable to remain. The moderators monitor the “Together We Go” website – www.2wg.org – but we cannot be online 24 hours a day and users may do post inappropriate material. We want “Together We Go” to be a safe space. If you discover any content on “Together We Go” which you consider breaches any of these Terms or Use or the House Rules, or is otherwise unacceptable, you should notify “Together We Go” immediately email@example.com. Please understand that we may not be able to remove or edit messages immediately.
If you discover content which you feel puts other members in danger, please get in contact as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org. We can’t guarantee an immediate response. If you, or someone you know, requires immediate assistance, please contact the emergency services in your area.
Location of Servers and Transfer of information: Special alert to non–Singaporean USERS
Our servers are located in Singapore. While we strive to be fully compliant with international privacy laws like the European Union’s GDPR, if you are located outside Singapore, be aware that the information you provide us will be transferred to Singapore and that the law applicable to the protection of User Information in Singapore may be different from the laws of your jurisdiction. By using the Network or providing us with information through it, you consent to this transfer and to the collection, storage, processing, and use of your information in Singapore as described in this Privacy Statement and the Terms of Service.
How do we use and share your information? We use the information we collect for a number of purposes, including to improve our website’s functionality, improve the services, communicate with users, and for internal business analysis or other business purposes. Your personal information is provided by you as part of the signup application and is available to all members. Some events are private and some are public, it is up to your discretion to sign up to the individual events.
We do not display your contact information publicly on our site or disclose personally identifiable information to third parties, except for when (1) we have your permission to make the disclosure, (2) the disclosure is necessary for the purpose for which the information was obtained, (3) a third party is assisting us to provide or manage the services or website, or (4) where otherwise stated in this policy. We also may disclose information where permitted by applicable law or when the disclosure is necessary, in our sole discretion, for the establishment or maintenance of legal claims or legal compliance, to satisfy any law, regulation, subpoena or government request, or in connection with litigation.
When will I receive emails. You will, of course, receive emails as part of the “Together We Go” services including, but not limited to, invites to sign up forms, status updates, and reminder notifications. In addition, we have email newsletters and other marketing/promotional materials that we send out periodically. You can unsubscribe from communications that are not specifically related to signups you are connected to by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link or by following the instructions provided in those communications. If you do not wish to receive any email communications from “Together We Go”, you may check in the settings to turn off receiving of email notifications from the specific services (events, messaging, groups, etc.). Please see the “Cookies” section under technical details below for additional information regarding cookies that we use to provide you with our services.
Our employees have access to your account data when needed to help provide the services of our site. Our employees may view your personal account data for a number of reasons, including in case of an emergency, to help solve a problem that you or another user is having with any part of our service, answer any questions that you may have regarding our service or website, and for internal business analysis to improve our service as well as your user experience. If you need help, we as well help you to set up your account or assist you in posting your own events for your activities.
Our site collects anonymous aggregate data and may choose to make some of this data public. Our site gathers anonymous aggregated data like web statistics and demographics statistics on our users. This data may be used to help us run our business, attract advertisers/investors/donors, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. We may choose to share or publicise certain anonymous aggregated data about our site. However, because this data is anonymous and in summary form (e.g., does not include your name, email address, home address, etc.), no advertisers or third parties receive this private information about you. We do use your data so our chosen shop software supplier, WooCommerce, and our chosen payment processor, PayPal/Stripe, can work together to create your “Together We Go” Community Membership. We also use MooSend to gather data to process our email newsletters.
For our online advertisements, we do our best to avoid inappropriate or offensive ads. Advertising that you see on our site comes from various sources. An advertisement could be from a company that we partnered with directly. We are in no way responsible for the content of an advertiser’s website if you choose to click on an advertisement.
We do not allow third-party ad networks or vendors in collecting non-personally identifiable information (non-PII) in order to serve relevant advertising both on our site and elsewhere.
Our staff reviews site data for the purpose of safety and developing a better service for our users. Our employees review all data on our site for the purpose of safety and helping us to improve our services.
We take precautions, but cannot provide guarantees. We do our best to secure your data through the programming of our services and the use of security measures that we deem appropriate for the type of data provided. However, we cannot completely guarantee that no part of our system or site will ever fail or be compromised. If you ever suspect that our site or services have contributed to your personal information being compromised, please contact us immediately so that we can investigate and try to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
“Together We Go” Cookies
Like many other web sites, “Together We Go” makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and the number of clicks to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information.
In addition to our own programming, we use web analysis services, such as Google Analytics, to compile aggregated statistics. Web analytics services utilise the data collected to track and examine the use of our site, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other services. The providers of the web analysis services may use the data collected to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network. “Together We Go” may utilise additional features of such web analytics services. Data that is collected may include: cookie data, usage data, geographic data, demographic data, IP address, and internet data. Additionally, emails we send may contain a bit of code known as a “web beacon.” This code allows us to understand the time and date of when a user has opened an email and when he/she has utilised a link within the email to visit a website. Our web beacons do not collect personally identifiable information.

At this time “Together We Go” does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
